How many guests can the apartment sleep?
Tranquil Tides has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed to sleep two guests and another room with bunk beds that will sleep another two guests. An additional two guests can stay on the bed settee in the living area.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
As Tranquil Tides is on the top floor of 3 floors, with no lift available, unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible. The stairs can be challenging for anyone with physical disabilities.
Is there free parking?
There is a small carpark right outside the apartment which is chargeable Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 6.30pm. This carpark can get busy, as people visiting the town centre tend to park here. Parking charges are as follows:
Up to 1 hour £0.70
1-2 hours £1.30
3-4 hours £2.50
4-10 hours £2.60
Additionally there is FREE parking just across the road at Carrickfergus Castle.
How far is Tranquil Tides from Carrickfergus Castle?
Tranquil Tides is approximately 320 metres from Carrickfergus Castle. There is a pedestrian crossing to allow you to access the Castle.
Is there free wifi?
Yes, there is free wifi in the apartment. All the information you need to access it will be in your welcome pack.
Can you accommodate longer stays?
We can accommodate guests up to a maximum period of 3 months.
Do you accept pets?
Yes we accept dogs at our discretion. Dogs should not be left unattended at Tranquil Tides at any time. There is also an additional cleaning surcharge for dogs.
What kitchen appliances are available?
In the kitchen area, there is a hob and oven, a combined fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and a washer/dryer.
